The DN1 is a rugged and reliable photocell designed specifically for the harsh conditions of streetlight switching. Years of research into common failure modes has resulted in a product that rivals the worlds best. High quality materials, high temperature electronic components and special contact material will provide years of reliable operation.

UV stable, high impact acrylic dome
AgSnO2 contact material (high current switching capability)
Shielded phototransistor (sensor does not stare at the sun)
Automated assembly (no internal lead wires)
Near hermetic sealing (prevents moisture ingress)
Low heat rise
Extremely rigid NEMA contacts
Satisfies SABS 1777 (2004)
The units can be supplied with a NEMA socket if required.
